The S.J.M.V.S.'s Arts and Commerce College for Women,Hubli was established in 1967 under the benevolent guidance of His Holiness late Shrimanmaharaj Niranjan Jagadguru Dr.Gangadhar Rajayogeendra Mahaswamiji of Moorusavirmath,Hubli. At present it is guided by His Holiness Shriman Maharaj Niranjan Jagadguru Shree Gurusiddha Rajayogeendra Mahaswamiji of Moorusavirmath,Hubli
Candidates who pass Second Year P.U. Examination conducted by P.U. Board, Karnataka and pass the Job-Oriented Pre - University Diploma of State Examination conducted by the Director and state council of vocational education. Govt. of Karnataka are eligible to seek admission to B.A. Part -1 and B.Com. Part -1 However, those who pass the equivalent examination in other states shall obtain the eligibility certificate from Karnataka State Women University, Bijapur and seek admission to degree classes. Admissions are made to various classes subject to eligibility criterion of students and the number of seats available in the college as per Karnataka State Women's University, Bijapur. Request application formsto be submitted along with provisional marks card of PUC-II / Equivalent Course, immediately after the results.
